Stop driving
Many individuals find the idea of having to stop driving very difficult. If the thought of having to give up your licence is upsetting, please know that you are not alone.
If it’s time for you or your family member to stop driving:
- Discuss your concerns with your family or friends.
- Discuss your concerns with your doctor.
- Talk to others who are in the same situation. Going to a support group with others who have the illness can help you feel less alone. There are resources in your community, such your local Alzheimer’s Society that can provide support to you and your family.
