AAA Has produced the DVD Roadwise Review: A Tool to Help Seniors Drive Safely Longer.
AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety An American site but well worth a look. In particular, see The Older and Wiser Driver, an excellent video. Also, a number of brochures are available for free by downloading the pdf. You can also purchase the driver-ZED for adults CD. driver-Zed puts you behind the wheel and guides you though almost 70 reallife driving sequences designed to increase your ability to recognize and deal with hazards and emergency situations on the road.
AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) An American site. Take the online Close Call Quiz help you learn from past situations.
Capital Regional District Traffic Safety Commission Download and listen to the audio resource Older and Wiser for senior drivers.
ICBC An excellent BC resource for driver licensing, insurance and other road safety issues. In particular, refer to the pages on Driver Re-exam. You can also download the driver licensing manuals.
NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) The booklet Driving Safely While Aging Gracefully is full of excellent information and is available online.
Senior Transportation Clearing House An excellent resource (also American), the Clearing House is a project cosponsored by AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety and the Beverly Foundation. Provides information in text and video form. Covers the following topics: Health and Fitness, Getting Ready, Driving, Travel Tips and Emergencies.

British Columbia Medical Association The drivesafe.com web site was prepared on behalf of the BCMA Emergency Medical Services Committee for the use of BC health practitioners. Much of the information will also be of interest to those who care about an older driver.
DriveABLE This organization has used scientific and medical expertise to develop assessment tools to identify atrisk drivers. They can assess whether your mature driver is at risk.
